Make Your Hair Look Beautiful when Relaxed!

Happy Mothers' day to all FiFi's pretty Ladies,
I decided to do this becos many of you guys have been doing mails to me asking on how to make hair look beautiful and healthy when relaxed!

below are the tips for a successful beautiful&healthy hair after relax!!! Hope these would be of help.

Strength
* Don't use the strongest relaxer EVERY TIME you get your hair relaxed: there is actually
nothing wrong with stronge relaxers.Just don't use it EVERY time. Alternate between the mild and strong relaxers (of the same brand) so your hair gets some rest between uses of the strong stuff.
Also ensure you dont comb while relaxing, just massage your scap thoroughly

*Condition your ends:  CONDITIONER IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. Conditioner strengthens hair. Condition the length and ends of your hair daily or at minimum every other day, AND DO NOT APPLY CONDITIONER TO YOUR SCALP MORE THAN ONCE A MONTH. Do not put water on your scalp daily either.

*Apply Moisturizer:  After conditioning your ends, you will need to moisturize them. Find an excellent moisturizer and apply it to the ends while your hair is still wet. Do not apply moisturizer to your hair full strength. Place a little amount in the palm of your hands and add water to dilute it. ensure the water and moisturizer are well blended then apply to the ends of your hair only.

* Do not blow dry your Hair: The intense heat of these machines is very damaging to hair types. Never blow dry your hair. Simply allow your hair to air dry. Heat make hair extremely weak and breaks easily. To achieve strong hair, you must avoid using a blow dryer.

Length
*Cut it out: If you want to gain any length on your hair, don't cut it. just well trim the hair.

*Curse of the Curling Iron: A curling iron is one of the most damaging instruments used on hair types. When a curling iron is used on your hair, the barrel cover clamps down on your hair causing a weak point. With repeated use the hair shafts eventually break along these areas made weak by the curling iron.

Thickness
*What comb are you using? Always use a very wide toothed comb to avoid ripping or tearing your hair out at the roots. Comb your hair very gently and avoid combing it frequently. Start combing at the ends and untangle those first and work your way up towards the scalp.

*Drink lots of water:  Drink plenty of water every day to keep your hair moisture rich from the inside. Your hair will bounce and move more easily and will not break easily or often.

tnx for visiting FiFi's blog!

Remember..............stay beautiful inside & out..
