Hi Sweets,
I had just a week additional make up training. As a beauty therapist i keep learning everyday.
I decided to hint u guys some tips........
With these endless palette of lipsticks, glosses, and stains, the makeup counter can be pretty overwhelming........
Choosing an Everyday Color:
*Find a color that is one to two shades deeper than your natural lips.
*Experiment with shades of pink: Pink looks good on all skin tones, and works with most outfits and hairstyles.
*Keep it subtle. During the day, the idea is to look as though you're not wearing very much makeup, unless of course you are attending a special event like a wedding.
Choosing the Right Red:
*Determine your skin tone: fair, medium, olive, or dark
*Find the right color for your skin tone:
For fair skin: coral reds or dark reds with blue undertones.
For medium or olive skin: pink and cranberry shades, and brick reds.
For dark skin: reds with burgundy or brown tones.
How to Shop for Lipstick
*Try the lipstick on before you buy it: The color on the box or container can often be deceitful.
* Remove one lip color completely before trying on the next: To avoid mixing multiple colors together
*Try on lipstick with little or no other makeup on your face: Other makeup can be distracting and prevent you from judging the lipstick itself.
* Ask for help at the makeup counter. Sometimes it's hard to objectively judge what looks best on ourselves. A professional at the makeup counter can match you with the right color.
don't forget to always drop ur comments/questions.
Remember..........stay beautiful inside & out...
great tips girl.. i love pink all day!!
