Even though I use my makeup brushes every day (on my clients faces, no less), I find the idea of cleaning them properly to be so daunting. Fortunately for me, many experts agree that a deep clean just once a month is fine—and you don’t need a fancy product to do it.
I suggest you “Dip the brush in warm, soapy water—use shampoo or a mild bar soap. Rinse it, blot the brush with a clean towel, then use a blow-dryer to dry the bristles gently.” Be sure not to get the base of the bristles wet, as doing so can cause the glue to loosen. You can also skip blow-drying, lay the brush flat on a clean towel, and let the bristles air-dry.............
